Looking for someplace with character for my wedding. Ideas?

I want to get married in the Madison area. I DON’T want a hotel banquet hall or a country club - BORING! But I don’t want to go so exotic as to get married in a cave or at the zoo. Any ideas? Also, we don’t have a boatload of money (I have 2 brothers getting married in the same year - talk about bad planning - I announced my engagement first though).
