I am trying to come up with some “winter” wedding ideas for my wedding this December?

I need some help on deciding how and where to place satin ribbons on my invites. How do you tie them on? Do you punch holes and tie the ribbons that way? Also, How do I add gems and what are some ideas on party favors. I dont want it to be like xmas wedding. I wanna have a white wedding sorta thing like a winter wonderland.
