Ideas for a traditional and yet somewhat unique wedding?

We’re just brainstorming wedding ideas right now. We both want something smallish, not a big to do. I would love to wear a dress but I probably have to wear uniform instead.

But anyway, what are some traditional and non-traditional ideas for a wedding? And has he got to have a best man?
Sorry, army uniform.
Well he and I are both in the army. I’m not sure if I want to wear my uniform but I probably have to. He intends on his and I understand that!
